You are welcome to bring a dog to Dove and Chatsworth Cottages, but not to The Lodge.
You must let us know at the time of booking if you are intending to bring a dog.
We allow one small dog per property at a cost of £5 per day.
For reasons of hygiene, consideration for future guests and to avoid damage to the lawn, please do not allow your dog to relieve itself in the cottage garden. Dogs must be exercised outside the property where normal rules on picking up dog mess apply.
Please do not allow your pet on carpeted areas or the sofas, chairs or beds.
We would prefer you not to leave your pet alone in the cottage but if this is unavoidable please ensure that they do not have access to carpeted areas etc as specified above
To avoid disturbing other guests we expect you to keep your dog under control at all times and not allow annoying barking.
We do provide wireless internet access in all of our properties.
All our properties provide off road, on site parking.
All our cottages are equipped with bath and hand towels
We are very lucky that we have quite a few pubs in the local area. Two pubs are within a 5 minute walk of our properties;
A further 15 minutes walk and you can get to The Crispin and White Lion in Great Longstone. A little further afield, but still less than 5 minutes drive is the Bulls Head at Ashford in the Water. But there are many many more options locally too.
If we do not have availability showing for the period you are interesting in, please contact us by phone, email or by filling out the enquiry form on our contact us page.
We try to make it as easy as possible for guests to recycle waste.
Each cottage is provided with biodegradeable food bags and green food bins to put all food waste in.
When the bins in your cottage are full please empty them into the large bins at the roadside gate
GREEN BIN – food waste, raw or cooked
BLUE BIN – TOP SECTION paper and cardboard, BOTTOM SECTION bottles, cans, drinks cartons and recyclable plastics
GREY BIN – Non recyclable material
There is also a metal dustbin at the gate for woodburner ash.
