Booking & Availability
We offer online booking for our cottages. Please check the availability calendars of all three cottages below. From there you can select your dates and move through the booking process.
If you require bookings for next year or a date not shown please get in touch by phone, email or by simply filling in the enquiry form at the bottom of the contact us page.
Weekly stays and weekend short breaks (minimum 3 nights) usually start on Fridays. Mid week breaks (3/4 nights) usually start on Monday/Tuesday. Short breaks can be booked at any time of the year and we may be able to offer other lengths of stay where availability permits so please enquire if in doubt.
Availability is updated regularly.
We are now able to accept payment by debit/credit card through our agents or over the phone but we prefer payment by online banking and we can give you our account details on request.
To confirm your booking you will need to complete our online booking form.
We can now take payment by debit / credit card through PAYPAL. However you can still contact us directly by email or telephone to arrange your booking and then pay by online banking.

Dog Policy
You are welcome to bring a dog to Dove and Chatsworth Cottages, but not to The Lodge.
You must let us know at the time of booking if you are intending to bring a dog.
We allow one small dog per property at a cost of £5 per day.
To avoid disturbing other guests we expect you to keep your dog under control at all times and not allow annoying barking.
Whilst we appreciate that most of our guests would not permit their pets to run free over the property, we have regrettably experienced some problems recently.
As we have no wish to withdraw this facility, for reasons of hygiene and consideration for future guests, we would ask that you be mindful of the following:
- Please do not allow your pet on carpeted areas or the sofas, chairs or beds.
- Please ensure that the garden is left free from mess.
- We would prefer you not to leave your pet alone in the cottage but if this is unavoidable please ensure that they do not have access to carpeted areas or sofas etc as specified above.

“We loved The Lodge and highly recommend it. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and really well appointed with a very well equipped kitchen. The views are second to none and the first floor sitting room was so relaxing I could’ve sat for hours just staring at the hills! Annie was a super host and even brought us some fantastic homemade chocolate cake. Location is also great with easy access to the Monsal Trail and a number of pubs within a relatively short walk. Many thanks Annie for a thoroughly enjoyable stay.”
